Juan Gonzalo Rayo was walking to work one day when he stepped on a landmine. The mine destroyed the lower half of his left leg, which later had to be amputated. Juan lives in Chinandega, Nicaragua, a large coffee growing area. He and his family have a farm where they grow corn and a variety of other crops. He is asking for a loan to improve his farm.
